Yesterday I finished a book-
Candide which in the end made me realize what is actually the most important in
keeping yourself happy. It ended with the words "Let us cultivate our garden"
which means to me that we have to keep ourselves busy even with simple
activities to be satisfied. When I was thinking about it it reminded me of two
weeks of the last summer that I spent with actually doing nothing effortable or
productive. I remember that after that I felt even more lack of energy and
satisfaction or happiness than if I was working really hard and was because of
it exhausted. At least then I'd feel that I'm doing something important. That's
why I think that these words are very accurate to nowadays world and we should
keep them in mind when we e.g. complain for too much work.
To recognize renaissance in general you have to know its features. Firstly, artists started to admire human body for its anatomy and proportion and therefore, focused on naturalism. They also didn't concentrate on frontality but tried to put people in complex poses from many points of view which helped in expressing emotions. It was the first time when background of a painting was so important and the perspective and atmosphere were included (the way of blurring shapes and colours to make it less intense so that it looks like it's far away.). The revival of plants starts in spring. God is meant to have the eternal life. In the Bible a dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YiL9MNyGKE
This is often a problem retired people have - having nothing to do they feel useless. This applies especially to men, as women find it much more natural to occupy themselves with 'simple activities' like cleaning, cooking or knitting.
OdpowiedzUsuńThat is why retired men love fishing soooo much. It just takes a lot if time and can be actually usefull if you catch something
